<@ST`MissMuffin> SO first and fore most, we are moving from a full free form channel to a sheeted channel. This doesn't mean that we are going to force rolls, but we do expect everyone to be able to put their character to a sheet and it will go up. SO why do we have templates AND Sheets. The template is the initial "This is my character, this is what I Think I want it to be and this is what I want to try out with out powers." This is what gets your character in the door.
<@ST`MissMuffin> A sheet makes that character official and allows it to be involved in plots and PVP, and gives a bases of understanding of where your character power level and skills are at. When I ST I spend a lot of time on the forums looking between character sheets to try to help people out. A lot of people are throwing characters in with ABSOLUTELY no idea what a power does, or where it falls on the power charts and they're leaving it up to the ST to figure it out.

<@ST`MissMuffin> Everyone wants that snowflake character, but I think people miss out when they think that means POWER and MORE and LOTS OF DOTS means my character is special. Characters are like people, and they are all going to be different. what makes them special is their backgrounds, their personalities, their outlook on life and what they contribute to the moment. Half the fun of running a plot, or rping is the growth of the character. I want to see this channel 4 years down the road and the new people coming in hearing the older ones say. you shoulda seen my noob when I brought him in! and all the shit we went through to get where he's at.
<@ST`MissMuffin> Even if you have the exp to put the dots into an area to fill it out, is your character the type to really take knowledge in that area? Lily White for example is always going to be a strength weenie.. I may someday have a ton of points to put into everything but honestly. Lily is Lazy. she will never go through the training required to bring up her strength.

<@ST`MissMuffin> The rules on the secondary character are there to encourage people to work on creativity rather then how much neat powers and shit can I compact onto my sheet before the ST wants to hit me over the head with a frying pan

<@ST`MissMuffin> No one is forcing you to join the plot, so if you choose not too, it is not our fault. IF you are struggling to figure out what to do with your character ask your fellow player. Bounce ideas, throw them around to the NPCs that are available for guidance use what you have

<@ST`MissMuffin> The forums are set up for people to use to get involved in the SL, you can always message me on there. I've also gotten off my ass and made lists for Jose for two out of the three plots so he is able to assist in keeping things going during the week while I am not around
<@ST`MissMuffin> so we're working on making sure things are covered and people can get access to stuff. I can't always update on the forums because.. I get tired people... it happens.

<@ST`MissMuffin> People have been trying to push through a ton of characters at one time. Try sticking to 2 or 3 and working on them in the plots and socially. Goes along with the whole character growth and such.
