Meta Gaming is defined as follows:
For the purposes of Rumble Street, this can be seen as utilizing out of character information for an in game benefit or catalyst for further role play, it can also be the direct involvement of one of your own characters to benefit or unjustly affect another one of your own characters. While we allow you to have multiple characters in Rumble Street at no time do we allow you to share your information between your own characters and at no time is it O.K. for you to have one of your characters simply know what another of your characters may have gleaned from in character interactions.Any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed rule-set, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game.
While we understand that mistakes happen, lets ensure that you are asking if there is ever a question pertaining to meta gaming rather than simply getting yourself into trouble because you "forgot".
We are staunchly and unreservedly against Meta Gaming in Rumble Street.
a first offense will be a formal warning with the understanding that it was not intentional - unless it is determined that the act WAS intentional in which case we move immediately to the 2nd offense.
A second offense will be a 7 day suspension from in character activities, a loss of all experience points for the month, and the loss of the characters involved in the Meta Gaming incident.
A third offense will be the loss of ALL characters and you will be banned from our game.
Once again, we take a very hard line stance against Meta Gaming and at no time should it EVER be considered to be alright to do these things. Character seperation should be a very real and understood thing, if you ever have a question about Meta Gaming and how it may affect you, please do not hesitate to ask an OP.
