Character Creation -MANDATORY READING-

CHARACTER CREATION SCHEDULE:

AS OF THIS WEEK: Friday: OCT, 30th 2015 - You may come and speak with the staff in #RS_Concept Monday through Thursdays for Character creation/concepts, etc. To make this process easier and more effective for everyone with the added benefit of saving yourself some time, PLEASE SEE THE MANDATORY READING LINK BELOW. This will take you to the creation section and you will want to refer to the Approval Lists (Conveniently linked for you below) for what is allowed and not allowed. (We are still working on updating this as there are several systems: Please consider it a living document that will be updated as we have more info.). Please have your questions lined up and ready and have some idea of a concept worked out. We ask that you do not come to us with an incomplete thought such as: "I'm thinking about playing a mage... but I dont know what." This will likely cause headaches in both directions and you will be directed to consider the idea a bit more and then come back to us with a complete concept idea. While we are here to help, we are not here to do everything for you.

Note: If it is clear that you haven't taken the time to read the Mandatory Reading we will likely redirect you to that until you have done so.

EXCEPTION TO THIS NEW SCHEDULE: : IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST CHARACTER, and you are new to Rumble Street, you may talk to us at any time. New players and first characters will always have priority.

With the explosive growth of the channel it has been quite hectic and we have been bogged down under a plethora of admin work, to the point of not getting much else done aside from addressing character creation. While this is great and I'm glad people are excited about playing here as well as having a lot of creative ideas they want to put into play, we as a storytelling team need to be able to get some other things done as well and have some time for ourselves to play and enjoy the game we have created with the help of our OP Staff and players. This does not mean we aren't here for you, it simply means we have a more structured environment with which to work in.

One last note: There may be the occasional time when we are unavailable due to real life events. That's ok.. there's always next week and if you are on this new schedule then you should already have at least one if not more characters to play in the mean time. So lets focus on the development of your current characters while we work on getting people fully integrated into the game and strive to provide the story line and plot elements that you all enjoy so much.
